How long Google Cloud keeps your data
Three statements on retention, quoted from its own pages. Google Cloud's data processing agreement (cloud.google.com/terms/data-processing-addendum, in the copy read October 9, 2026) says: “Google will comply with this Instruction as soon as reasonably practicable and within a maximum period of 180 days, unless European Law requires storage, where European Data Protection Law applies, or applicable law requires storage, where any other Applicable Privacy Law applies. 6.2 Return or Deletion When Term Ends.”
